Music biggest night in Ghana was held on Saturday, 6th May, 2023. The award ceremony in the Ghanaian music industry, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, which was the scene of a wide variety of performances, surprises, and loads of delight.
The 24th annual VGMAs organised by Charterhouse undoubtedly offered excitement and joy to the winners, leaving contenders who lost clearly disappointed while rewarding fans and patrons with electrifying performances from their favourite artiste
Black Sherif, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Amerado, Piesie Esther and others swept couple of awards on the night. Black Sherif was awarded the ultimate; Artist of the year in a tight category with Sarkodie, King Promise, Piesie Esther, Stonebwoy, Kidi, etc.
