Comedy is one great therapy we all need in our daily lives. You need to take life easy and don’t be depressed. Our daily life is already stressful us.
Thumbs up to Panda Entertainment Ghana for putting up a great comedy show in Accra-Ghana on Easter Sunday. It was a risk taken event being it Easter, knowing most people living in Accra travel outside Accra on Easter for family reunions and vacations.
Most people are out of Accra to Kwahu, a suburb of Eastern region of Ghana for the big Easter festival celebration and others visit their hometowns from city stress. Kwahu Easter is a big deal in Ghana. It brings all the Kwahu(s) to Kwahu and Accra is mostly populated by Kwahu(s) so when it’s Easter, Accra city is somehow empty. Almost all the events are moved to Kwahu on Easter.
But Panda Entertainment Ghana also thought it wise about the people who will be left in Accra. What kind of entertainment will they have since all the events have been moved to Kwahu.
Panda Entertainment Ghana then organized a comedy show and music dubbed, “Strings Of Laughter” which was slated on 17th April, 2022 hosted at Fantasy Dome - Accra,Trade Fair. The event got all the favorite comedians, OB Amponsah, Comedian Waris, Lekzy De Comic, Foster Romanus, Mmebusem, Putogo, Felicia Osei, Afia Barcelona, Comedian Paper on one stage and featured Ghanaian trending Afrobeat artist, Camidoh supported by Panda Entertainment Signees, Emmy Gee, Kwesi Zane, Pinky Pecks. The show was hosted by President of Ghana Comedy Association, Mr Obrempong Agyapong.
Panda Entertainment also gave platform to support young upcoming potential talents like, Edoh Yat, Shatty, Yaw Stone, Ene Yatt from Nigeria.
It was a night of Laughter throughout the show. Every comedian put on the show nailed it. Reactions from the audience after the show was overwhelming. No negative comments, everyone was entertained to the fullest.
There’s a great future for the Comedy industry in Ghana.
