Nigerian Superstar, Burna Boy Finally Receives His Grammy Award Plaque For “Best Global Music Album” 2020 (Watch Video)


Nigerian superstar, popularly known as Burna Boy has finally received his Grammy Award Plaque months after being announced as the winner of the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category at the 2020 GRAMMY Awards ceremony.


Burna Boy couldn’t hide his excitement, he took to his Instagram page on June 10, 2021, to share photos of his plaque accompanied by a video clip of himself and other team members in the studio

Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer, Burna Boy’s ‘Twice As Tall” album emerged winner of the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category which was one of the toughest categories. 

He won it ahead of ‘Fu Chronicles’ by Antibalas, ‘Agora’ by Bebel Gilberto, ‘Love Letters’ by Anoushka Shankar and ‘Amadjar’ by Tinariwen.

The album ‘Twice As Tall’ was executive-produced by American music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs (P.Diddy)
