MADE IN GHANA “APIO” CAN COMPETE IN MOST SOPHISTICATED MARKETS – President NANA AKUFO-ADDO

H.E Nana Akufo Addo

Addo says he strongly believes that Made in Ghana and beautifully packaged “Apio”, [local gin] he’s recently seen can compete in the most sophisticated markets in the world.

According to him though he cannot vouch for its taste or potency, since he gave up alcohol many years ago he’s confident the product will make lots of sales on the international market.

Speaking during his swearing-in in Parliament on Thursday, January 7, 2021, to begin another four-year term, President Akufo Addo said he expects the locally produced “Eku juice”, one of the results of the Government’s “One-District-One-Factory” flagship policy, to replace rapidly the imported fruit juices on the shelves of our supermarkets.

He added that “not because anyone will so decree, but because the quality of the locally produced one is as good, if not superior.”

President Akufo-Addo said his boundless confidence in the energy of the Ghanaian makes him believe that we can become the prosperous nation we aspire to, and soon.
