Gender Ministry, Child And Social Protection Cautions The General Public To Stop Posting Akuapem Poloo And Son Nude Image, Condemns The Act (Statement Attached)


Social media went gaga on Tuesday, 30th June, 2020 as Ghanaian actress and social media model, Rosemond Brown popularly known as, Akuapem Poloo released nude image of her and son to celebrate the son’s birthday.
Many weren’t cheery with the post for exposing the innocent boy to child pornography.

Ghana Gender, Child and Social Protection has released a statement to condemn the act and caution the public to stop sharing the pornography image on social media.

They explained that the act of the social media actress is criminal and offence which is classified as indecent exposure of the child to an act of pornography, degrading and also against child’s act of the law.
According to the ministry, they are liaising with the appropriate agencies to deal with the issue as they condemned the act.
In a press statement which was released and signed by Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, she indicated that the posting of nude pictures on social media all time is a serious offence.
