| Suspect: Chigorom Ezeofor |
A 37year old mentally challenged Nigerian man, identified as Chigorom Ezeofor, has been arrested for allegedly killing his father in Unuchiana, Anambra State in Nigeria.
The police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed said, men of Aguata police station on Saturday at about 9am, received a report from one Timothy Ezeofor that his 70year old elder brother, Godwin was allegedly murdered by his son, Chigorom using an Axe.
Timothy added that the suspect has been mentally ill for the past eight(8) years. Following the report, police officers mobilized to the scene and rushed the victim to the hospital where he was certified dead.
Exhibit was recovered and the suspect was arrested and taken to the station for further investigations to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
