Ghanaian Afro-Pop Singer, Song-writer and rapper, born Amoah Yaw Randy popularly known in Showbiz as Yaw Berk has expressed his displeasure and expatiates why Ghanaians don’t appreciate good music but rather appreciate noisy and bad content songs.
The “Independent Lady” hitmaker on a phone interview with KP Promotions talked about his awesome new Extended Playlist Album (Ep) which is dubbed “iamyawberk Ep”.
The Ep consist of seven (7) tracks which features Ghanaian talented singers, Kurl Songx(Jeniffer Lomotey) hitmaker and “Nothing I Get” hitmaker, Fameye. The Ep was technically produced by hardworking top Ghanaian producers like Samsney, Street Beatz and Paris Beatz. They all did amazingly well on the Ep to give you great good music.
In the interview, Yaw Berk expressed how it saddens him sometimes when Ghanaian don’t appreciate good music. He said, his kind of music are not for shallow minds. He spend time to write good content songs and when you get time to listen his songs, you will know what he’s talking about.
He stated, majority of Ghanaians don’t appreciate good music and it makes it strenuous for musicians who write good songs to be appreciated. There are so many “chaff” songs in the system because that’s what Ghanaians want to hear and dance.

Most Ghanaian musicians don’t want to waste time to write and record good content songs, only few are concern about the quality and content of the song. Yaw Berk promised to serve Ghanaians with great music and he knows one day most people will appreciate his kind of songs.
