Ghanaian rapper, Emmanuel Botwey known in Showbiz as, Kwaw-Kese is at it again. The controversial musicians and self acclaimed, King Of The Street( Abodam) voiced out in an interview with Regina Van Helvert on Rhythms Live(Ghone Tv) that, he advocated for money to be added to the Award Plaques.
Most of the Award Events in Ghana have no attractive item or money attach to it. It is just the award and most of the award plaques are made of wood.
Kwaw-Kese won Artiste of the year award, 2008 at the Ghana Music Awards. In all, he swept 5 hooping awards. He blurted some of the Awards he won were broken and could not be fixed. If there is no money attached to the Awards then he does not see the use of the Awards.
He disclosed that, he advocated award plaques must have money attached to them and now musicians are enjoying good money when they win an Award at the VGMA’s.
